Privacy Policy

1. Data controller
This policy applies to ithacape.com and the Ithaca Private Equity career-acceleration services operated by Giovanni Pagano ("Ithaca", "we", "us"). Privacy enquiries and data-subject requests may be sent to giovannipagano01@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
- Information you submit through Typeform, including identity and contact details, education, professional background, career objectives and application answers.
- Information you provide during strategy calls, programme delivery, support conversations and feedback or testimonial collection.
- Scheduling details generated when you book a call after submitting an application.
- Technical and usage data generated when you visit the website or interact with videos, subject to your cookie choices.
- Communications, support requests and records reasonably required to deliver the programme and manage the customer relationship.
3. Why we process data
We process personal data to assess applications, arrange and conduct strategy calls, recommend an appropriate programme path, enter into and perform agreements, provide training and mentorship, respond to enquiries, maintain programme security, comply with legal obligations and—where consent is required—measure website performance and advertising effectiveness.
4. Legal bases
Depending on the activity, processing is based on steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Ithaca, or your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
5. Providers and recipients
We may use service providers including Typeform for applications, scheduling providers for strategy calls, Wistia and YouTube for video content, Google Analytics for consented analytics, Meta for consented advertising measurement, and hosting, CRM, communication and payment providers required to operate the service. These providers process data under their own terms and, where applicable, contractual data-protection safeguards.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected through an adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses or another legally recognised safeguard.
7. Retention
Application data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to assess the application, manage follow-up and meet legal requirements. Client and contractual records are retained for the duration of the relationship and applicable statutory periods. Consent and analytics records are retained according to the periods described in the Cookie Policy. Testimonial material is retained until consent is withdrawn or the material is no longer required.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing. You may withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Testimonials and outcomes
Names, images, videos, quotations, locations and professional outcomes are published only on the basis of an appropriate permission or other valid legal basis. Participants may contact us to discuss withdrawal or modification of testimonial consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
10. Security and automated decisions
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data. Website and application information may support an admissions assessment, but Ithaca does not rely solely on automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Cookies
For details about necessary, functional, analytics and marketing technologies, see the Cookie Policy. Preferences can be changed through the Cookie settings link in the website footer.
12. Updates and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the website, programme or providers. Material changes will be communicated where required. Contact: giovannipagano01@gmail.com.
